mediCAD 3D Knee creates an informative 3D model from axial CT or MRI stacks. Depending on the soft tissue contrast and slice thickness of the CT, muscle, ligaments and even the patient’s skin can be depicted.
This 3D model provides a good indication of patellar tracking as well as the course of the patellar tendon at the knee and its lateralisation, as well as bony deformities

Plan your revision prostheses on a CT after the artifact reduction and masking of the primary implants. Specifically avoid the errors from the primary implantation. Check the fit of the revision implants on the structure of the bone, using a heat map visualization of the bony contact.
