We look back with gratitude on an impressive trip to South Korea: As part of the market entry programme of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, organised in cooperation with trAIDe GmbH, mediCAD had the opportunity to get to know the Korean healthcare market better.
The exchange with leading experts and innovative companies from Germany and Korea was not only enriching, but also an important step on our path to international cooperation in the field of medical technology.
A particular highlight was our visit to the Smart Simulation Centre at Seoul National University Hospital (SNUH). We were deeply impressed by the cutting-edge technology used there to train future medical professionals – it impressively demonstrates how state-of-the-art technology can be used specifically for practical, realistic training environments.
This is precisely where our vision comes in: with our mixed reality technology and software for preoperative planning of joint operations, we create realistic, patient-specific training scenarios – ideal for medical education and training.
With the symbolic gesture of the Korean ‘Little Heart’, which stands for gratitude, respect and solidarity, we would like to express our sincere thanks for the open exchange, the valuable discussions and the warm welcome.
We look forward to the next steps and to working with our partner in Korea to provide new impetus for medical training and care.
