Das Modul Hüfte unterstützt bei der Planung von Hüftimplantaten. Es basiert auf gängigen, vormals manuell durchgeführten Planungsmethoden der Hüftendoprothetik mittels Röntgenbildern und Prothesenschablonen.
Mit dem Modul Knie können Knieprothesen geplant werden. Mögliche Achsfehlstellungen lassen sich während der Planung ermitteln und korrigieren. Dadurch wird es möglich eine Korrektur der Krafteinleitungen am ganzen Bein präoperativ und postoperativ zu beurteilen.
Mit der Funktion „Osteotomie” werden femorale oder tibiale Umstellungsosteotomien mit einfachen oder mehrfachen Osteotomien, mit Open Wedge oder Closed Wedge Technik geplant.
Mit mediCAD® wird die Lücke zwischen Radiologie und Orthopädie geschlossen. mediCAD® Radiology ist dabei die optimale Schnittstelle. Durch Messungen speziell für den Radiologen unterstützt das Modul eine professionelle Erstbefundung.
